I found these Euro pillow shams being clearanced at the Pottery Barn Outlet for quite the bargain. Other than some
zig-
zag stitching, they didn't have any red on them -which I thought they needed more of. So, I remedied that by
attaching some letters to them. G, for Gavin. E, for Eli. It breaks up the square pattern and added some color I needed. I adhered wonder under to some red felt and then used my friends super cool machine to applique them on. The stitching on them feels so good, you would never know I didn't buy them that way.

I LOVE these. Your friend my have an embroidery machine because that is one great satin stitch for the applique. Love them both. I am calling you this week. I hope all your packing and preps are going well.
Hi, I didn't see an email address for you, so I am commenting here. I made the cake/cupcake stand for the chicken cupcakes and cake. I glued 3 cake rounds together and then wrapped them in wrapping paper and trimmed with ribbon. I used paper mache hat boxes to adhere the cake rounds to. I hope that helps. You have a great blog, with great party ideas! Love those aprons! ~Dusti
